I absolutely love this recipe for ground beef meatballs in a mushroom sauce, and it’s so easy to make.   To make your meatballs here is a simple recipe for you thanks to Yahoo Answers:
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped Italian flat leaf parsley
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 cups stale Italian bread, crumbled (or crackers)
1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
1 cup olive oil

DIRECTIONS
1.Combine beef in a large bowl. Add garlic, eggs, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper.
2.Blend bread crumbs into meat mixture. Slowly add the water 1/2 cup at a time. The mixture should be very moist but still hold it’s shape if rolled into meatballs. (I usually use about 1 1/4 cups of water). Shape into meatballs.
3.Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Fry meatballs in batches. When the meatball is very brown and slightly crisp remove from the heat and drain on a paper towel. (If your mixture is too wet, cover the meatballs while they are cooking so that they hold their shape better.)

Then comes the best part! the sauce:
Take the meatballs out and put them in a roaster to keep warm in the over and use the same pan you used to fry the meatballs
Put 1 -2 cans of mushroom sauce into it and about 3/4 cup milk,
Then add your fresh mushrooms cut up into small pieces (usually 2 cups),
Then add a squirt of ketchup, soya sauce and some beef seasiong if you have it.
Add a couple of tablespoons of Miracle Whip too - trust me, its good.
Let it cook till warm and add the meatballs back in and finish cooking
Serve over noodles or rice.
